Mississippi High School Volleyball - Ripley edged by Pine Grove
August 22, 2023: Ripley, MS 38663 The Pine Grove Panthers held off the host Ripley Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belmont for a non-league test on Thursday, August 24. Pine Grove will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-4.
The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their test against New Albany (New Albany, MS). The Bulldogs enter the Class 4 Region 1 test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, New Albany was nudged by Caledonia (Caledonia, MS), 3-1, in a non-league test.
