September 12, 2023: Ripley, MS 38663 The Pine Grove Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Falkner Eagles to 0 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now possess a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashland for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. Pine Grove will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-2 league win over Byers (Holly Springs, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-10.
The Eagles (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Jumpertown (Booneville, MS). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Jumpertown defeated Ashland (Ashland, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
