August 8, 2023: Ripley, MS 38663 The Pine Grove Panthers prevailed the visiting Myrtle Hawks volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Pontotoc for a non-league test on Thursday, August 10. Pine Grove will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ingomar (New Albany, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
The Hawks (0-4) will now prepare for their test against North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, North Pontotoc dropped by Belmont (Belmont, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.
