August 22, 2024: Raleigh, MS 39153 In Thursday's league challenge, the host Raleigh Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Amite County Trojans.
The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Crystal Springs notched a victory over Magee (Magee, MS), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Trojans battle the Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) in a Class 2A Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, August 27. Amite County will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Raleigh (Raleigh, MS).
