September 10, 2024: Liberty, MS 39645 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS) and the host Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS), observed Raleigh's volleyball team top Amite County by a count of 3-0.
The Lions (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Puckett (Puckett, MS). The Wolves enter the Class 2A Region 7 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Puckett notched a victory over Mize (Mize, MS), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Trojans battle the Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) in a Class 2A Region 7 contest, on Thursday, September 12. Amite County will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Puckett (Puckett, MS).
