August 24, 2023: Henrico, VA 23294 Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Mavericks battle the Hermitage Panthers (Richmond, VA) in a Colonial match, on Tuesday, August 29. Freeman will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Varina (Richmond, VA).
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Prince George (Prince George, VA). The Royals enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Prince George defeated Grove Christian School (Richmond, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
