Texas High School Volleyball - Conroe can't hold off Lake Creek

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Lake Creek Lions volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Conroe Tigers.

The Lions (4-13) will now prepare for their battle against Bryan (Bryan, TX). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 11-17 record. In their last battle, Bryan nudged Fort Bend Kempner (Sugar Land, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 battle, on Tuesday, August 29. Conroe will attempt to advance on its 15-14 season record. The Wildkats come into the battle with a 14-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Nederland (Nederland, TX).
