The R-S Central Hilltoppers volleyball squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Hendersonville Bearcats to 1 in the Hilltoppers league win on Tuesday.

With the win, R-S Central improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Brevard (Brevard, NC) to face the Blue Devils in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A test on Thursday, August 29. The Blue Devils go into the test with a record of 4-2. Brevard won 3-0 in their recent league test against East Rutherford (Forest City, NC)

The Bearcats now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Polk County for a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A test on Thursday, August 29. Hendersonville will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Patton (Morganton, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-1.
