North Carolina High School Volleyball - Chase can't hold off R-S Central

October 10, 2024: Forest City, NC 28043

In Thursday's league match, the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), by a final score of 3-2.

Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A match, on Monday, October 14. R-S Central will attempt to advance on its 10-10 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 14-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC).

The Trojans (7-11) will now prepare for their match against Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Blue Devils enter the Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A match with a 13-3 record. In their last match, Brevard held off R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
