Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) and the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), observed Polk County's volleyball team top R-S Central by a count of 3-0.

The Wolverines (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers enter the non-league contest with a 18-1 record. In their last contest, Kings Mountain notched a victory over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.
