In Thursday's league test, the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Rome Wolves (Rome, GA), by a tally of 19-2.

Next, the Mustangs clash with the Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 3. Kennesaw Mountain will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 3-9 record after their 16-9 league loss to Paulding County (Dallas, GA).

The Wolves (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Dragons come into the non-league outing with a 1-4 record.
