Georgia High School Softball - New Manchester sneaks past Rome

September 18, 2025: Douglasville, GA 30135

The New Manchester Jaguar softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Rome Wolves to 10 in the Jaguar league win on Thursday.

The Jaguar now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 23. New Manchester will confront a Tigers team coming off a 22-11 non-league win over Pebblebrook (Mableton, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Rome moves to 7-11 on the season. The Wolves host East Paulding (Dallas, GA) to confront the Raiders in a 5A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 13-9. East Paulding won 9-1 in their recent non-league bout against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA)
