Georgia High School Softball - South Paulding sneaks past New Manchester
September 17, 2025: Douglasville, GA 30134 The South Paulding Spartans softball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting New Manchester Jaguar to 0 in the Spartans league win on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lithia Springs for a 5A Region 5 battle on Thursday, September 18. South Paulding will meet a Lions squad coming off a 16-3 league loss to Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA). The Lions record now stands at 4-9.
The Jaguar (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Rome (Rome, GA). The Wolves go into the 5A Region 5 challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Rome was nudged by South Paulding (Douglasville, GA), 16-0, in a league challenge.
