Ohio High School Football - Ridgedale falls to Elgin

August 29, 2025: Morral, OH 43337

The Elgin Comets felled the host Ridgedale Rockets football team by a score of 36-7 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Comets meet the North Baltimore Tigers (North Baltimore, OH) in a Northwest Central test, on Friday, September 5. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 2-0 record after their 48-8 league win over Hardin Northern (Dola, OH).

With the defeat, Ridgedale drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH) to face the Golden Gophers in a Northwest Central challenge on Friday, September 5. The Golden Gophers go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Ridgemont won 45-6 in their recent league challenge against Perry (Lima, OH)
