The Elgin Comets football team (Marion, OH), was crushed 47-6 in Friday's league bout with the host North Baltimore Tigers (North Baltimore, OH)

With the win, North Baltimore advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Tigers host Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH) to encounter the Fighting Hornets in a Northwest Central contest on Friday, September 12. The Fighting Hornets enter the contest with a record of 0-3. Cory-Rawson lost 8-0 in their recent league contest against Hardin Northern (Dola, OH)

Coming up next, the Comets confront the Ridgemont Golden Gophers (Mount Victory, OH) in a Northwest Central contest, on Friday, September 12. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
