In Saturday's non-league match, the Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) volleyball team knocked off the host Central East Bengals (Fresno, CA), by a margin of 2-0.

The Chieftains now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hoover for a non-league bout on Saturday, August 30. Sierra will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Sierra (Tollhouse, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 6-2.
