Georgia High School Softball - LaGrange bounces Starr's Mill
August 31, 2023: Fayetteville, GA 30215 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) and the host Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), saw LaGrange's softball squad achieve victory over Starr's Mill by a count of 16-7.
The Grangers now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitewater for a 4A Region 4 match on Friday, September 1. LaGrange will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Starr's Mill falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Panthers host Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA) to face the War Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, September 6. The War Eagles enter the match with a record of 2-4.
