The Newton County Cougars topped the visiting Neshoba Central Rockets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Kosciusko Whippets (Kosciusko, MS) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 9. Newton County will attempt to advance on its 4-2 season record. The Whippets go into the game with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over McAdams (McAdams, MS).
