Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA), 8-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Prince Avenue Christian improves its record to 15-1 on the year. The Wolverines host Monroe Area (Monroe, GA) to battle the Purple Hurricanes in a non-league match on Monday, September 15. The Purple Hurricanes come into the match with a record of 10-6. Monroe Area won 11-0 in their recent league match against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA)
