Georgia High School Softball - Academy for Classical Education bounces Spencer
September 12, 2022: Macon, GA 31210 The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) softball routed the visiting Spencer Greenwave (Columbus, GA), 17-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Gryphons (17-2) will now prepare for their bout against Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 5-8 record. In their last bout, Mary Persons was routed by Jones County (Gray, GA), 18-3, in a non-league bout.
The Greenwave now possess a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Kendrick for a 2A Region 2 bout on Thursday, September 15. Spencer will confront a Cherokees squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Jordan (Columbus, GA). The Cherokees record now stands at 1-6.
