In Thursday's league challenge, the host Crown Point Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over the Merrillville Pirates.

With the win, Crown Point advances its record to 18-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host La Porte (La Porte, IN) to face the Slicers in a Duneland test on Tuesday, September 23. The Slicers go into the test with a record of 10-11. La Porte lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Chesterton (Chesterton, IN)
