Virginia High School Football - Potomac Falls holds off Lightridge

September 19, 2025: Aldie, VA 20105

The Potomac Falls Panthers football team scored 26 points and held the host Lightridge Bolts to 20 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Loudoun Valley Vikings (Purcellville, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 26. Potomac Falls will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Vikings enter the game with a 4-0 record after their 56-6 league win over Dominion (Sterling, VA).

With the defeat, Lightridge drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bolts travel to Freedom (South Riding, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a Western outing on Friday, October 3. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 3-0.
