Texas High School Volleyball - West Rusk overwhelmed by Central Heights

September 19, 2025: New London, TX 75682

Central Heights Blue Devils (Nacogdoches, TX) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX), 3-0 in a non-league outing.

The Blue Devils now have a 27-6 record. They play next when they travel to Huntington for a 3A Region III District 21 outing on Tuesday, September 23. Central Heights will play a Red Devils team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Corrigan-Camden (Corrigan, TX). The Red Devils record now stands at 21-14.

With the loss, West Rusk drops to 21-11 on the campaign. The Raiders host White Oak (White Oak, TX) to play the Roughnecks in a 3A Region II District 16 outing on Tuesday, September 23. The Roughnecks come into the outing with a record of 14-14. White Oak lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Troup (Troup, TX)
