The New Diana Eagles volleyball squad (Diana, TX), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX)

With the win, West Rusk improves its record to 11-8 on the year. The Raiders travel to Huntington (Huntington, TX) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 28. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 11-9. Huntington won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against New Waverly (New Waverly, TX)

In their next game, the Eagles face the Cross Roads Bobcats (Malakoff, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. New Diana will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 1-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX).
