West Rusk Raiders (New London, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, West Rusk improves its record to 13-9 on the season. The Raiders host Kilgore (Kilgore, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 18-9. Kilgore lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX)

Next, the Eagles meet the Arp Tigers (Arp, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. New Diana will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 18-9 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX).
