North Carolina High School Volleyball - Elkin over Wilkes Central
September 2, 2025: Wilkesboro, NC 28697 In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Wilkes Central Eagles.
The Buckin' Elks (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Surry Central beat Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
With the loss, Wilkes Central drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Freedom (Morganton, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 2-6. Freedom won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)
