In Tuesday's league match, the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

The Huskies now possess a 18-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Wilkes for a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A bout on Thursday, September 25. Ashe County will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league win over Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 13-4.
