September 20, 2022: Mathis, TX 78368 Goliad Tigers (Goliad, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the St. Joseph Flyers (Victoria, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 24. Goliad will attempt to improve on its 21-11 season record. The Flyers enter the game with a 26-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Providence Catholic (San Antonio, TX).
The Pirates (9-17) will now prepare for their game against Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Panthers enter the 3A Region IV District 29 game with a 13-12 record.
