The North Surry Greyhounds volleyball squad (Mount Airy, NC), dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC)

With the win, Surry Central improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Golden Eagles host North Stokes (Danbury, NC) to encounter the Vikings in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 24. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 4-10. North Stokes won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy (Winston-Salem, NC)

The Greyhounds now own a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Airy for a Northwest 3A/4A battle on Thursday, September 25. North Surry will meet a Granite Bears team coming off a 3-1 league loss to East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 8-8.
