North Carolina High School Volleyball - Surry Central can't hold off Forbush

September 25, 2025: East Bend, NC 27018

In Thursday's league match, the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Falcons battle the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a Northwest 3A/4A match, on Tuesday, September 30. Forbush will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC).

With the loss, Surry Central drops to 11-5 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a Northwest 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, September 30.
