The Forbush Falcons volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Mount Airy Granite Bears to 1 in the Falcons league triumph on Thursday.

The Falcons now possess a 13-7 record. They play next when they host East Surry for a Northwest 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, October 7. Forbush will play a Cardinals team coming off a 3-2 league loss to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-5.

The Granite Bears (9-10) will now prepare for their game against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles enter the Northwest 3A/4A game with a 13-6 record.
