In Saturday's non-league match, the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), by a final score of 3-1.

Next up, the Granite Bears confront the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a Northwest 3A/4A match, on Tuesday, September 23. Mount Airy will attempt to advance on its 8-7 season record.
