The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC) and the host Triad Math and Science Academy Bengals (Greensboro, NC), saw Millennium's volleyball squad beat Triad Math and Science Academy by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Millennium upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Phoenix in a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 3-8.
