The West Wilkes Blackhawks prevailed the host Alleghany Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Blackhawks confront the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) in a Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A game, on Tuesday, September 30. West Wilkes will attempt to advance on its 6-7 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 10-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC).
