In Friday's non-league game, the Boone Grove Wolves (Valparaiso, IN) football squad knocked off the visiting River Forest Ingots (Hobart, IN), by a margin of 42-24.

The Wolves now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whiting for a Greater South Shore - South outing on Friday, October 3. Boone Grove will clash with a Oilers squad coming off a 59-7 non-league loss to Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN). The Oilers record now stands at 2-4.
