In Friday's league game, the Donna Redskins (Donna, TX) football team overcame the visiting Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX), by a tally of 20-12.

In their next game, the Redskins battle the Donna North Chiefs (Donna, TX) in a 5A-1 Region IV District 15 game, on Friday, October 3. Donna will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Chiefs enter the game with a 1-4 record after their 63-0 league loss to Harlingen South (Harlingen, TX).
