The Weslaco East Wildcats (Weslaco, TX) football knocked off the visiting Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX), 20-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Donna North for a 5A-1 Region IV District 15 outing on Friday, October 17. Weslaco East will clash with a Chiefs squad coming off a 35-20 league loss to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 1-6.
