The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Flour Bluff Hornets (Corpus Christi, TX) and the host Rivera Raiders (Brownsville, TX), witnessed Flour Bluff's football squad wallop Rivera by a tally of 49-0.

The Hornets (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Donna North (Donna, TX). The Chiefs enter the 5A-1 Region IV District 15 contest with a 1-7 record. In their last bout, Donna North was crushed by Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX), 64-20, in a league bout.

The Raiders now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Donna North for a 5A-1 Region IV District 15 bout on Thursday, October 30.
