Tennessee High School Football - Franklin defeated by Independence

The Independence Eagles were victorious over the visiting Franklin Admirals football squad by a margin of 21-7 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ravenwood for a 6A Region 6 test on Friday, October 3. Independence will clash with a Raptors squad coming off a 28-21 non-league win over Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, TN). The Raptors record now stands at 6-0.

With the defeat, Franklin drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Admirals travel to Centennial (Franklin, TN) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, October 3. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 1-4. Centennial lost 52-17 in their recent league game against Page (Franklin, TN)
