The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Union Bears (Appalachia, VA) and the visiting Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA), saw Union's volleyball squad beat Gate City by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Union upgrades its record to 19-1 on the year. The Bears travel to Lee (Jonesville, VA) to play the Generals in a Mountain 7 bout on Thursday, September 29. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Lee won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA)
