The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) and the visiting Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA), saw Gate City's volleyball squad beat Abingdon by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Gate City upgrades its record to 12-6 on the year. The Blue Devils host Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA) to play the in a Mountain 7 bout on Tuesday, October 4. The go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Ridgeview lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Abingdon (Abingdon, VA)
