The South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls football team (Norwood, NC), was ripped 41-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC)

The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Union Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cardinals come into the 1A/2A Yadkin Valley challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Union Academy was ripped by North Stanly (New London, NC), 38-0, in a league challenge.

The Rowdy Rebel Bulls now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Albemarle for a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley challenge on Friday, October 6. South Stanly will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 34-0 non-league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.
