The Nimitz Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Berkner Rams to 1 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now have a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pearce for a 6A Region I District 7 outing on Friday, October 3. Nimitz will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league win over MacArthur (Irving, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 20-11.

With the defeat, Berkner moves to 10-18 on the season. The Rams host MacArthur (Irving, TX) to confront the Cardinals in a 6A Region I District 7 game on Tuesday, October 7. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 4-13.
