September 5, 2023: Raeford, NC 28376 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) and the visiting Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC), saw Hoke County's soccer squad triumph over Scotland by a margin of 9-0.
The Bucks now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Lee County for a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Wednesday, September 6. Hoke County will encounter a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Scotland drops to 0-1 on the season. The Fighting scots travel to Southern Lee (Sanford, NC) to encounter the Cavaliers in a Sandhills 3A/4A test on Wednesday, September 6. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 2-2. Southern Lee lost 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Montgomery Central (Troy, NC)
