In Friday's non-league game, the Ray Bearcats (Kearny, AZ) football team triumphed over the host Valley Lutheran Flames (Phoenix, AZ), by a tally of 60-0.

In their next game, the Bearcats battle the Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 12. Ray will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 52-6 league win over Duncan (Duncan, AZ).

The Flames (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cicero Prep Academy (Scottsdale, AZ). The Centurions go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Cicero Prep Academy was crushed by Desert Heights Prep (Glendale, AZ), 44-28, in a non-league bout.
