September 9, 2025: Savannah, GA 31410 Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Hampstead Phoenix (Savannah, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Islands advances its record to 11-6 on the season. The Sharks travel to Johnson (Savannah, GA) to face the Atomsmashers in a 3A Area 3 test on Thursday, September 11. The Atomsmashers go into the test with a record of 4-13. Johnson lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Bryan County (Pembroke, GA)
The Phoenix now sport a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ware County for a 4A Area 1 game on Thursday, September 18.
