The Desert Edge Scorpions routed the visiting Metro Tech Knights basketball team by a final score of 65-34 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Scorpions face the West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 15. Desert Edge will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Dragons enter the game with a 5-2 record after their 65-29 non-league win over La Joya Community (Avondale, AZ).
