The Springbrook Blue Devils basketball squad (Silver Spring, MD), was nudged 71-67 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD)

With the victory, Northwest advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Jaguars host Blair (Silver Spring, MD) to meet the Blazers in a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. The Blazers enter the battle with a record of 8-6. Blair won 52-46 in their recent non-league battle against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD)
