St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ), 65-64 in a league bout.

With the win, St. David upgrades its record to 6-15 on the season.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Bisbee Pumas (Bisbee, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Valley Union will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Pumas go into the bout with a 15-9 record after their 74-42 league win over Santa Rita (Tucson, AZ).
