The First Flight Nighthawks bounced the visiting Manteo Redskins basketball squad by a final score of 56-31 in Monday's league outing.

Next, the Nighthawks clash with the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing, on Thursday, January 30. First Flight will attempt to upgrade on its 10-1 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 12-4 record after their 40-37 league win over Camden County (Camden, NC).

The Redskins (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Panthers come into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Pasquotank County routed Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC), 46-45, in a league contest.
